I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Kohl's (Blue Bell, PA) in Oct 2012
Interview
I applied to Kohl's via Snagajob.com and was called back a week later. There was no phone interview. The lady just asked me whether or not I could come in for an interview with a woman. She offered me three times from which to choose. I scheduled for the next week. Between then and the interview, I did my research on the company's mission and what they look for in their employees to prepare. I also made sure to check out their credit card(s) just in case they asked how I would sell it. I developed a list of 10 common interview questions/scenarios and wrote down answers to those. Read it over a couple of times before the day of the interview. I dressed to impress and bought my resume+reference list to attend the interview, which happened to be 1-on-1 with a friendly woman. She took me into their break room and asked me a few questions. Afterwards, she told me more about their company and the type of positions they were currently hiring for. She asked which I preferred and asked whether or not I had any questions for her, which I did. I was then asked to fill out paperwork. She told me that I'd be receiving a call next week after my references and background check cleared. Had the interview yesterday, so I am currently waiting to hear back.

Interview
I had a remotely easy interview process that went pretty quick. They asked the average questions, but the pay was not the best so I did not go with them.

Question 1
Can you name a time you had to show good teamwork?
scheduled Zoom interview TWICE and both times, I waited in appropriate "room" and no one from Kohls "showed up". I even called the local store and asked if I should keep waiting, who ever answered checked and they said yes, they will be right with you. I waited over 30 minutes each time.

They asked me to be available for a zoom call at a specified time.
I applied online. I interviewed at Kohl's (Fort Smith, AR) in Feb 2026
Interview
The interview was completely online, and I spoke with someone from HR. The interview was incredibly short and lacked much substance. The interview consisted of basic questions about when I would be available, but also included a personal question about going out of my way to help somone. All in all, it was a horrible experience.
