I was flown out to their company headquarters and treated to a hotel room, and meals. The interview consisted of 3 separate interviews along with information presentations about benefits and company culture.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"Would you be willing to accept a fulltime offer given after the internship?"
I applied online. I interviewed at Kohl's in Jan 2026
Interview
Applied online and was reached out to by a recruiter in the company for a short chat. That went well, so we waited until after the holidays to schedule the next step; a technical interview with 3 senior engineers. Each asked their own questions, and then the engineer within my discipline took me through a technical exercise of reviewing code. I thought I did well enough for my level, and had a pleasant time talking with the interviewers. However, I did not receive any feedback. I reached out via email a week later to both the coordinator and recruiter: no response. Got the automated rejection two weeks later. Please at least be courteous and give an update on the process.
