I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kohl's (Saint Louis, MO) in Sep 2015
Interview
Made contact with a current employee, scheduled an interview. Scheduling an interview was difficult, system was confusing. Interview itself was very brief (30min) covering my own interests in the company and explanation of position requirements and expectations. The interviewer was very straightforward and direct, explaining some strategies the company had in place over the last couple of years and the opportunities available with up coming growth.
The interview process was easy, but it took forever. I think I was there for 5 hours, had to take an aptitude test, and wait for a long time for a second team member to join the interview.
Interviewer made me feel comfortable. Questions asked were relevant to job position. Interview started promptly and lasted 30 minutes. A full description of job duties and day to day was described.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Kohl's (Rocky Point, NY) in Feb 2022
Interview
I completed 4 lengthy repetitive interviews in 1 week.
The first in person interview I was kept waiting for the manager to arrive over 30 minutes.
Appropriately answered every question to each different person. I have over 25 years experience in the Beauty industry and also a State Cosmetology licence.
After the last interview I was given no explanation of why I didn't get the job. I feel I should have gotten a clear explanation regarding this after devoting my time to the multiple interviews.
