I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kohl's
Interview
I had two interviews. The first was with the store manager, and the second was a week later with the district manager. It was a relatively quick process. They asked all the basic retail questions and emphasized questions about how you would handle situations regarding other employees.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Kohl's (Milford, OH) in Oct 2022
Interview
Absolute waste of time. Recruiter reached out on LinkedIn, I replied and she referred me to another recruiter who called me and answered by questions. They ask for you salary range on the application; when I arrived in store the manager did not even introduce himself. He was upfront and told me that they could max do $7 less an hour than what I asked. I respect him for that and not wanting to waste my time, even though it was already wasted driving and waiting. If a company asks what the desired salary is, they should make sure you are in their budget for a role before moving you on. Totally a recruiting/HR issue.
I applied online. I interviewed at Kohl's (Louisville, KY) in Oct 2020
Interview
phone interview after online application with the store manager; it lasted about 45 minutes. I was to get a call later that week from another team lead but my initial asking salary / hourly range was higher than they start. They did not call me back.
