When to interview for a basic position (stores associate/cashier) during my summer vacation from college, and I think it was an "ok" interview. I saw when I stepped into the establishment, mostly senior adults working, A lot of older folk, which is totally okay and great in my opinion if the older generation needed more work or wanted to work. I just kind of had the feeling that the hiring process was biased against younger people who applied. They gave the excuse that I wasn't "qualified enough" to work there which I found odd since I thought I had a ton of experience. I worked at Dorney, was in the Disney college program the year previously ad completed my internship there, had other retail jobs prior to the interview as well. Maybe I was too overqualified or something? But again, not a bad interview, just not for the younger generation to be applying there.
