Local people seemed great. It was the former 3G cronies I was skeptical of. First I could’ve run circles around the guys two levels up. Also at the time of the interview they named a 28 year old CFO. No thank you. Corporate raiders running two former great companies into the ground and placing a bunch of Brazilian nationals in charge of good American products seemed ridiculous. This is what happens when cutting costs at all costs is more important than culture, people and products. They basically begged me to come work there but I would’ve needed a contract with guaranteed money. I didn’t trust the Brazilians.
