      Corporate Management Trainee Program Interview

      Oct 27, 2015
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kraft Heinz in Oct 2015

      Interview

I was invited via email to participate in an online assessment. I received the email on a Friday and was given only 24 hours to complete the 90+ minutes in assessments. It seems unreasonable, in my opinion, to just send an email and expect a candidate to cut out that chunk of time from school/work/social life to complete the assessment. This rubbed me the wrong way and frustrated me while I took the assessments at 2am. I decided while I was taking the assessments that I likely would not want to work for a company which clearly places such little value on work/life balance.

      Interview

I had a video interview with Kraft Heinz after taking an assessment test and it was not a live interview. I had to answer 5 to 6 behavioural questions where they give you 30 seconds to think and 2 minutes to answer.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kraft Heinz in Feb 2018

      Interview

I applied online. The application was incredibly simple. I received an email a few days later telling me to take a personality test and a matrices test. A day or two after that, I received an email saying I had moved onto the phone screening and I had to complete it that day or the next day. The recruiter called me and was very brisk. She was no nonsense and told me I had 15 minutes to answer all of her questions, so I went through them quickly. At the end of the screening, she said I would move onto the Skype interviews and I scheduled them for the very next day. I was interviewed by a woman who had recently finished this program and then by an HR rep. Both interviews went incredibly well. They were much nicer than the recruiter and we had an easy conversation. I can say that one of the interviews was a little more brisk, but overall, I felt good about the entire thing. Unfortunately, almost a week later, I received an email saying I didn’t make it to the in person interview. I would not have been able to make it anyways, due to travel plans I had previously booked, but I was astounded that they waited until a week before the in person interview to tell me whether or not I needed to find a way to Chicago and a place to stay while there. Overall, the process was very quick and it seemed like they had a specific type of person they were looking for (Ivy league and confident to the point of aggressive). I gathered this from questions i asked the interviewers and from the fact one person I spoke to said it was unusual for someone from a liberal arts background to be accepted into the program.
