I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Kroger (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2016
Interview
The interview process was extremely easy. I applied for the Produce Clerk position and went to training to for the position. I had to constantly call (and was always transferred from person to person). I got fed up with calling, so I went to talk to HR in person. I was told that the produce clerk position was no longer available but no one stopped to inform me. After that they offer me a cashier position, and I accepted that position (went to training again). And then I was never put on the schedule( after several attempts at contacting the scheduling manager). Communication was terrible, and too much of a headache for only $7.30/hr. .

Interview
Interview was very brief and only asked me my previous employment history and availability. I was then given a run down of what the position would entail and had to sign a couple papers proving that it was explained to me. Overall not too bad and was very laid back.

Interview
Rote, simplistic, smarmy interviewer. Typical open ended questions regarding customer service. I got the distinct impression that I was being eliminated due to my age. I frequently shop at the store and there are very few employees over age 45.
Easy, very basic questions, pretty much just questions based on prior employment and contributions to team work.Easy, very basic questions, pretty much just questions based on prior employment and contributions to team work.
