I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at L.L. Bean (Freeport, ME) in Sep 2012
Interview
The hiring process was odd. They send you an e-mail asking you to call them to set up an interview. Once at the interview you have to wait at least an hour to be seen, the are taking into a cubical, if you are offered the job they take you to another room to fill out paper work then to a nurse who will ask you if you are healthy. They you don't hear anything from them until the day you start which is at least 1 month after your interview.

Interview
Phone interview HR called to screen my resume and ask questions about my experience. After the phone interview received a call back to schedule an onsite interview where I meet the hiring manager. The interview was very successful and the process was simple.
