I had an initial screen with a HR rep and she set up a virtual with the DM. Spoke at length with the this person about this position. After an hour conversation we arranged an in person meeting. I drove an hour to meet this person and at the conclusion of the interview she did a “bait and switch “ and suggested a lesser role for me. If I had known that I was being considered for a lesser positionI would not have wasted my time. This would have been a less than lateral move and not a career move! So bad!
