I completed two virtual 1-on-1 interviews for this position. Firstly, the interview scheduling process was inefficient. Rather than using interview scheduling software, the recruiter went back and forth with me via email to set a date and time.
During the first interview, I learned that the company uses a lot of outdated processes. The interviewer was unable to tell me about the technologies used in the role because he did not know.
During the second interview with the manager of the position, she kept her camera off and I found it impolite that she didn't at least address that. Similar to the first interviewer, she was unable to answer many of my questions regarding aspects of the role, yet she said that the person in this role would work most closely with her.
Towards the end of the interview, she encouraged me to reach out to her with any questions and provided a Hotmail email address (rather than her work email address). She said that she was very impressed by my experience and told me that the recruiter would contact me with information regarding coming onsite to meet the rest of the team.
After waiting a week and not hearing anything from the recruiter, I reached out to him to ask for an update. A few days later on LinkedIn, I saw someone post about accepting the position. Later on the L3Harris Careers page, I saw that my application status had been updated to "Inactive". The recruiter never responded to my email.
