This interview was nothing like anything I have ever experienced. It was with the hiring manager, and I did my due diligence and spent a few hours preparing for the interview. The recruiter sent me just a link and a start time to the interview, not a meeting notice. When I logged into the meeting, the hiring manager informed me that it was going to be a 15 minute meeting. I shared that I was unaware of that and she seems surprised that the candidates were not being told by the recruiter. Anyway, my question is this… How was someone supposed to sell themselves in 15 minutes? The hiring manager talked, asked me two questions and then allowed me to ask two questions and that was the end of the interview. It felt more like a ticking the “I interviewed an external candidate” box for HR rather than a real interview. I feel like it was disrespectful to the candidates who spend time and effort preparing to ask an answer questions. I’m not sure if this is the normal way that L3Harris interview people, but I was very disappointed.
