I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at LA Fitness (Hollywood, CA) in Jan 2015
Interview
My friend who worked there got me an interview with the Membership Sales Manager. She explained to me what the job required (minimum of 80 calls, 15 leads, 8 appts. 4 sales per shift) and asked me if I could handle it, I said yes because it did not seem THAT hard to do but just a warning they expect way more from you than just that. Called me later to have me come in for a follow up interview with the VP over telephone.

Question 1
Have you had previous sales experience?
What does customer service mean to you?
The interview process was great. I had two interviews, but one could have been more professional than the other. The experience is overall bad because I was promised a position as an assistant manager but I was given a different position with a much lower pay.
Not really an interview at all. You get the job if you have consistent transportation pretty much. They go over pay and things like that. Really the interview is just a formality
Took about 15 minutes, asked simple questions. Anyone could get this job so long as you have a pulse. Pay offered was not great so did not stay with the company for very long.
