(Glassdoor is requiring the removal of C-Level Manager names)
The entire interview process took about 2 weeks to complete. It started with a phone conversation with LAZ Parking, in Schenectady, NY. It was agreed that I go into Binghamton, NY and meet with the LAZ team to whom I would be working alongside. A couple days later, a MS Teams meeting was set up with LAZ Parking in Schenectady, NY . Within a couple days, I was asked to have a face-to-face with LAZ Parking in Schenectady, to "expedite the process". So, I planned a day trip, a 3 hour out of pocket, round trip from where I lived. After that meeting, a MS Teams interview was set up with LAZ Parking from NYC. The whole series of interviews went very well. Then on that proceeding Friday I was formally offered the position via phone from LAZ Parking. He described the entire compensation package and asked if I was interested in the position. I said yes. He said that HR would be in contact with me to start the onboarding process. I followed up that phone call with an email to both the LAZ Team in Schenectady and NYC thanking them for formally offering me the position and that I was excited to join the team. The LAZ Team responded and reiterated the offer. That following Monday, I received a phone call from LAZ Parking again and he stated that, "they will no longer be perusing me for the position". I was dumbfounded and he gave me absolutely NO REASON as to why. I pressed him for about five minutes to please explain, but he would not. This was the most unprofessional business experience and lack of vocational courtesy I have ever experienced. The LAZ Parking moto is Commitment to People, Respect, Honesty, Integrity, and Trust. In this case, they FAILED on ALL ACCOUNTS!
