Application
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at LPL Financial (Charlotte, NC) in Aug 2020
Interview
I was contacted by an intermediate recruiting firm for a PM role. I went through the initial screening interview, and then had a Zoom video interview with the hiring manager. The recruiter whom I worked with I would later find out was not well versed in the role or what the hiring manager was looking for. I was prepared to discuss software development, Agile and Scrum, and the hiring manager was wanting to discuss Waterfall methods as well as legal and regulatory based projects.

Question 1
Lots of questions regarding familiarity with software and basic project management processes. Also be prepared to discuss conflict resolution with regards to business stake holders in great depth.
The process was lengthy and disorganized. It did not inspire confidence in the organization. They did not seem to know what they were looking for in the role. It came off as unprofessional and caused me to question my fit there.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LPL Financial (San Diego, CA)
Interview
2 phone interviews with 1 in-person.
The two phone interviews were standard check the boxes. The in-person was with 6 people ranging from project managers to SVP. Being questioned by 6 people all at once may seem daunting, however, I prefer this to 6 people individually as most of the questions are the same.
