I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at LPL Financial in May 2024
Interview
The interview process was pretty straightforward: (1) applied online; (2) had a phone screen; (3) interviewed with the hiring manager; (4) met with a couple of team members and stakeholders. However, after my last interview, there has been no communication from LPL. Despite following up with the recruiter three times, I did not receive a response whatsoever.
I was genuinely enthusiastic about the role and LPL's vision and mission until I was suddenly ghosted. I believe that companies should handle this situation better. Ghosting candidates, particularly after they have completed multiple rounds of interviews, is entirely unprofessional. There appears to be a lack of empathy from the recruiters. Ultimately, candidates are human beings and should be treated with greater professionalism and respect. Regardless of the outcome or update from the hiring team, candidates should receive timely updates, especially if it has been a couple of weeks. Recruiters and HR professionals, please avoid leaving candidates in limbo. Treating candidates with respect is crucial because it influences the image they hold of your esteemed company.

Can you tell me a little bit about your background?
I applied online. I interviewed at LPL Financial (Fort Mill, SC) in Jul 2024
Interview
Several rounds of interviews over 12 weeks. They had no intention of filling the role. They will leave you in the dark. This is the second time LPL has done this to me in the past year. Ghost job postings are very real with this company.

Question 1
tell me about a time you had a conflict with an employee and what you did to resolve it.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at LPL Financial (Charlotte, NC) in Jul 2024
Interview
Met with recruiter and hiring manager. The interview process was not the best experience. I interviewed with the organization for three different VP roles. This organization lacks diversity and inclusivity. It seems like they interview to OFCCP requirements and to meet quota. In addition, there is lack of promoting those who are people of color.
