The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) (London, England)
Interview
The interviewer turned up late and instead of apologising, they acted as if they were on time. Throughout the interview, they were in a hurry and seem disinterested. Spent a lot of the time telling me why this role might not be the right one for me. Was informed by the recruiter that it would be a situational competency based interview but there was no such question. It seemed they opened my CV for the first time during the interview and were making up questions as they went along. There is no problem with a non-standardised format but as an interviewer they should come a little prepared and not make the interviewee feel unwelcomed.

Interview
It was a standard 2 person interview. Boilerplate questions. Nothing special. I was able to answer all of the questions very comfortably and with ease. It was a streamlined process and I was able to ask a lot of questions too.

Interview
The interview was great and I thought things would move forward, however, I never heard back even after I followed-up once. It would have been nice to get some sort of response even if it was to say that I didn’t pass the interview.

Question 1
Felt more like a chat about myself, what I do, why the firm, and they provided with an overview of the role.
