Interview Experience – Graduate Engineer Trainee at LTIMindtree Overall Experience: Positive Interview Difficulty: Medium Interview Date: [April, 2025] Interview Process: The interview process at LTIMindtree for the Graduate Engineer Trainee role was smooth and well-organized. It consisted of the following rounds: Online Aptitude + Technical Test: Conducted via an online platform. Covered quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal ability, and basic programming concepts in Java, C++, and data structures. Technical Interview: Questions were asked on core Java, OOP concepts, final year project explanation, and basic DSA problems. I was also asked to write and explain a simple code on arrays and strings. Interviewer was friendly and allowed me time to think and explain. HR Interview: It was a casual and friendly interaction. Questions included: "Tell me about yourself", "Why LTIMindtree?", "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?", and some scenario-based questions. Tips for Future Candidates: Be clear with your project and basic programming concepts. Revise OOP, DBMS, and simple coding questions. Practice speaking confidently and clearly in the HR round.

The interview process was very easy and smooth. In the technical interview, they first asked about my favorite programming language, which I mentioned was C. Then they asked very basic questions such as: what is a linked list, what is an array, the data types in C, pros and cons of C, etc. They also asked about my favorite subject and why I liked it, as well as which semester I found the hardest and questions about my family background. After that, I had an HR interview where they asked about relocation, my strengths, and my future goals. The overall process was simple and well-organized.
