I applied online in Sept. 2015, and the director reached out to me through e-mail in the middle of Oct. We scheduled an interview for the following Monday. I was dressed in business casual attire. It was one-on-one and took about 45 minutes, but time flew by. The director made it really comfortable and basically read questions off of a sheet that seems like they (The Company) have prepared for them. I noticed she was circling ratings of my responses after every time I answered.
Aside from reading off the sheet, she did ask me about my career goals and even talked about which professors she had in college (I am currently attending the school she went to).
At the end, she told me that she had two more interviews; but pretty much indicated I had the job by saying "We'll get back to you with the hours & pay rate by Thursday, then you can let us know if you're comfortable working."
Getting back to me on my pay rate took much longer than expected. I was originally supposed to find out 3 days later: that Thursday. Then it got bumped to the next Tuesday. They finally got back to me in Nov., exactly 2 weeks after my interview.
I expected a really low pay rate, so when I saw my offer it was definitely worth the wait.
The director also informed me of my set schedule time, and that it would be Part Time for the first month, then moved up to Full Time.
Before starting, I had to pick up paperwork to get my work cards. I also had to get a Tuberculosis screening. The total came up to ~$130 without insurance.
I started two days after she got back to me and was so excited!
Good luck to everyone applying.
