This was a "teacher career fair" advertised online. Any one wanting a job came in, filled out an application and brought a resume. There were three ladies present who were center directors. I was interviewed by the lady who headed the center were the fair was being held. So I assumed each lady took on a different candidate. as they walked in. She asked me the basic questions, tell me about yourself, why do you want to work here etc. She did a lot of talking as seemed very friendly. I didn't get any of the questions that one of the other ladies asked a previous candidate such as will you be willing to substitute to get you foot in the door? She gave me information about obtaining a CDA, The entire interview took about 15 minutes. She told me that she was not hurting to hire new people at her center, but that the other ladies needed people. Which begged the question why didn't the other lady interview me? Needless to say I never got a reply back or a call back interview...as i think they were trying to hire 18 year olds and I am in my mid 30s and have experience in teaching in a school district from another state.
