Company recruiter reached out to schedule a phone call screening. Typical questions, but most of the time was spent from the recruiter telling me about the company and how great an opportunity it was. I was told the hiring manager was very impressed with my experience and that if I received any offers from any other companies during the interview process to let them know so that they could possibly counter. The called ended with me being told that I would be receiving an assessment by the next day or so and then schedule an interview with the hiring manager. I never heard anything even after following up with the recruiter. I then received an automated email later that week saying I wasn't being considered for the position anymore.
