I was given a phone screening with a manager at LaunchDarkly. This manager seemed unprepared and had very few questions to ask. They mainly asked me why I wanted to work there. They actually asked this several times. Which at this point in the interview process I wasn't sure if I did. They did not give me any real pitch on why I should want to work there. This early in the interview process I am trying to determine if this is the right place for me just as much as they are trying to determine if I'm the right fit.
Ultimately, I don't think my skills were the right fit but I didn't really learn much about the company. I would recommend that they work on having a decent pitch to make potential employees more interested.
