The interview had a panel format, which felt stuffy. Showing my personality was a challenge because of the rapid-fire nature of the questions. In retrospect, it seems that the overall dynamic wasn't the best match for me. I thrive in environments that foster collaboration and innovation, and I sense that this particular marketing team might not be as forward-thinking as I'd prefer. If your experience is more senior level, you clearly have the chops to do the job. Still, the hiring manager should see if the person fits the company culture rather than asking irrelevant questions.
