I applied online. I interviewed at Levi Strauss in Jan 2018
Interview
Got a call from a recruiter for a Sr. Manager role. Given my years of experience it was an ambitious try. However my salary expectation put her off. If you are not ready to pay people their worth, as a HR you are expected to have a polite answer other than Okay ( with a smirk) . Reflected poorly on the company as well as her personality. Wouldn't apply again with this firm.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself?
Just general questions nothing difficult or crazy
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Levi Strauss
Interview
Separate interviews to cover all cross functional partners that you would be working with. 9 in total for me including the HR person and over 3 separate days. After the interviews are completed the team needs to get together, provide feedback and decide on the candidate. Only candidates fully supported from all of the interviewers are hired.

Question 1
This is the situation and it just happened to me last week... How would you have handled it?

Interview
Telephone interview followed by in person interviews with prospective manager and others. There was a good deal of corporate promotion and a focus on the position rather than the applicant
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Levi Strauss (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Went through a 20 minute screening interview with a recruiter, and then was emailed a list of times for a phone interview with the hiring manager. After responding to the email, I then got radio silence and made the assumption that they had changed their mind. Two weeks later, I received an apologetic email from the recruiter stating that they did want to set up a phone interview, which I later did that week. Contacted afterwards to say they wanted me to come in for four back-to-back interviews with folks from different parts of the company that I'd be interfacing with. Came in and did two interviews, then met the hiring manager who informed me the VP wasn't available to interview after all and that he'd be the last one. Finished the interview, and the recruiter left me a message stating the next day that they wanted a final phone interview with the VP. After giving them some time options, I once again got no response. I sent a final follow up email two weeks later, but never heard anything back. While the interviewers were all very nice throughout the process, the fact that they didn't respond back - even when they were the ones who instigated the contact - multiple times led me to believe they are either disorganized or non-confrontational. It would have been nice for some closure.
The interview questions themselves were pretty routine - walk me through your resume, tell me a time when you...kinda stuff. The team interviews were more for determining if you'd be a good fit in the group. The hiring manager didn't have any questions when it came time for the in-person interview and instead just asked me if I had any questions to ask him.
