I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Liberty Mutual Insurance
Interview
Initial phone interview 30 min; offered in person which was about two hours. Met with one manager then sat with a current employee for observation then another manager. They kind of did a good cop bad cop style but could have been their personalities. The insurance industry can be tough so maybe trying to see how I handled some adversity.
Background check was very intense took almost three weeks to clear and i had to provide w2s going back 5 years because they couldnt get in touch with the company. Because of the dates they had set for training classes i wouldnt be able to start for another 6 weeks. So from initial phone interview to actual start date will be about 10 weeks

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you dealt with a difficult customer.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Liberty Mutual Insurance (New York, NY)
Interview
Initial contact was quick and positive. Recruiter rushed through the phone interview like she wanted it over and done with. The actual interview had standard questions. The interviewers made some negative comments about the company during the interview which was a red flag. When it came to my questions for them, they rushed through them and gave run around answers which did not exactly answer my question, another red flag. Weeks had passed with out any communication, but I didn't get a rejection email at first. I followed up with the recruiter a week after my interview, who never responded until I finally got the rejection, over 3 weeks after my interview. No feedback, just the standard "thank you for your interest". At this point I had already moved on. I am unlikely to reapply to this company again in the future
Apply through your supervisor and be selected for an interview. Interview is with team managers and site supervisor. Last around 20-30 minutes. Come prepared specific examples and questions to ask the interviewers. Took a little over a week to be offered the position. (Manage took me into a room during my shift to let me know) Use "I" and never "We". Talk about things that are recent (not things you've done years ago). Use SPECIFIC examples.
