I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Liberty Mutual Insurance in Sep 2011
Interview
After applying online, I was contacted by the in-house recruiter and we spoke for about 30 minutes. She was very knowledgable, warm and sounded interested in my background and qualifications. She then set up another phone interview for approximately one week later with the hiring manager for that department. He and I spoke for about 45 minutes and again, he was knowledgable and courteous. He told me that the "next step" would be for me to fly to another office and meet with him and another manager. He told me that it might be a week or so before I heard from HR. After a week had passed I emailed the hiring manager and the HR person to ask about the status of my next interview and to reiterate my interest in the job. The next day I got a call from the HR person telling me that someone else had been selected for the position. She was very nice, and urged me to apply for other jobs at the company.

Interview
The interview process is a bit too long. I did a video interview and two webcam interviews with different hiring managers. You’re hiring, I need money, let’s get this moving along.
I applied online. I interviewed at Liberty Mutual Insurance (New Orleans, LA) in Dec 2023
Interview
Easygoing process from start to finish. The interview went well and a lot of questions were answered and the applicant was happy with the process. Liberty Mutual seems like a good company.

Question 1
Recently interviewed with Liberty Mutual. I heard through the grapevine that the company is on a hiring freeze until January 1. Are these rumors true, false?

Interview
Not professionally dressed for occasion; though it was a virtual meeting, but, I always say, dress to impress even if I’m the one hiring. Not too enthusiastic about interviewing; too laid back. Will not interact.
