Life.Church Operations Pastor interview questions

In the first round of interview, I was asked baseline ministry leadership questions. Near the end, I was informed that the position I was applying for would not be the role I would be initially hired for. (I was only told this near the end of the interview and not in the posting itself nor in the initial email) The recruiter made it sound as if this is “how we hire this role”. Very unprofessional to post a job, offer an interview for said role, only to be told that this is actually a entry-level train-in position which would result in the eventual role after 6months - 2 years of “training.” Life Church, be upfront with your postings, emails, and interviews. If the position is a “trainee” position then say that up front. Bad form.
