I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LightBox in Jan 2022
Interview
The interview process was efficient and straightforward. I had two interviews with two senior-level employees within the Marketing Department and both interviews were very enjoyable. Both of my interviewers asked insightful questions and structured the interviews to be more conversational. They very clearly outlined some company strategies as well as future initiatives and how the role would impact those and where the expectation was set.
Overall I was very impressed with both of my interviewers. They were both clearly very passionate about their work at LightBox and displayed extensive marketing strategy acumen.
I also directly asked them about the negative reviews that I have seen about the company, and they were not afraid to openly discuss them. I found that to be very refreshing and thier responses to be genuine. They explained that the company is expanding and acquired some legacy companies which many of those employees were not happy about moving to a more corporate environment. They also explained that they do take those sorts of complaints very seriously and are looking to make sure they address all/any issues of employee dissatisfaction.
I was ultimately offered the position with a pretty impressive offer letter that included a great salary and phenomenal benefits. However, I ended up accepting a counteroffer from my current employer instead. Im hoping that doesn't turn out to be a horrible mistake! I would encourage anyone to apply at LightBox, I think working for this company presents a significant opportunity!
