Interview
The process was very unorganized and hurried. Still taking a solid 2 hours. We were handed applications and told to fill them out. We barely were given five minutes before being shuffled into a small room. They didn't have enough test for everyone, and me and a girl had to wait while everyone were reading instructions.
So, the lady comes back in and the clock begin for everybody. I found the test quite difficult. I was trying to play catch up and read the instructions while everyone had done so. The woman said she'd give us a few more minutes to complete the test (which she did not).
Then, the woman said we'd have to wait while other people take another test but at the last moment she had the bright idea to give us all the spelling test. It was one of those aha moments as though she never considered it before. She honestly went so blazingly fast during the spelling test. Her speech wasn't great, either.
Some black dude asked if he should write his name on the test and she had a snide remark about making sure whose test it was. You know he didn't get hired.
Then that was it. No introduction whatsoever about the school. Very cold. I was told over the phone I would get to meet everyone and tour the school. I don't remember the woman's name and was not at all surprised when I received the rejection email. I honestly felt a little bit of relief. If that's the process I can only imagine how they run everything else. It wasn't exactly what I would call "smooth sailing".

Interview
Phone interview if generic questions, VERY strange group interview that includes a cheesy video, spelling test and critical thinking test, and hour and half interview with center manager if you pass the test, and an hour video interview with regional manager if you make it to that step. I spend 3 days interviewing, spent over an hour and a half with the center manager during one interview. I was told by the center manager and the regional
Manager that I would have a decision and a phone call by the afternoon. I was sent a form email letting me know I was not selected. That speaks volumes to me. To spend that long interviewing and they didn’t even have the courtesy to call me... looks like I dodged a bullet. This company has horrible employee reviews and I was to trying to over look it but based on my experience, I would have to agree with these reviews. Offer or not, you spend that much time interviewing someone, the least you can do is pick up the phone and call them.

The first part of the interview is a phone interview with a Manager. If you pass the first interview, you will be informed to go to the Learning Centre to do a critical thinking test (30 mins, 40 MCQs) and a spelling test (25 words).

There were 3 rounds and I attended 2. The first was a phone interview which lasted for about 10 to 15 minutes only. They then scheduled me for a spelling test and critical thinking test with the centre director.
