Prior to the interview, admin replied to my application via email within a day. Customer service officer was helpful and pleasant.
To be honest, the interview experience lacked professionalism and warmth. Quite the irony as the company aims to help struggling learners of reading, comprehension and Math... 😅✌
Came in early for the interview and looked forward to the session. However, instead of checking-in with the tutors on their respective wealth of expertise, we were being judged based on how we performed for the tests... Spelling and comprehension tests under timed-condition. Lol, felt like a student. No offence. I would have shared about our company's aim, approach and strategies in helping such learners... Where is the passion?😀Well I guess it is what it is.
P.S. I could even hear conversations taking place next door with one of the students undergoing the sessions while we sat for our tests... I guess we are both students yea... N i did not clear the 1st obstacle course aka tests... Well naturally we feel ... as we were not given the opportunity to share about ourselves other than the timed tests... Yea, life goes on ya... Tks for the experience & best wishes to your company's journey in making a difference in the lives of the children under your care.
