I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn in Jan 2017
Interview
Had an initial phone interview with a recruiter and was asked a couple of common questions about myself, why I wanted to work there. I had a 2nd phone interview with a UI Engineer that started off with specific questions that gauged my understanding of CSS (floats), HTML (DOM, accessibility), and Javascript (promises, prototypes). Afterwards, I was asked to write code for a sample widget
It was a 1 hour medium leet code, followed by a 1 hour coding exercise using HTML and CSS, and I was also asked Javascript, HTML, and CSS questions during the HTML and CSS portion.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Mountain View, CA) in Oct 2018
Interview
Initial 10 minute phone screen, then 2 hour technical phone interview. If you get past the technical interview round, you get invited for onsite interview, which finally leads to offer.
