I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn (New Delhi) in Feb 2017
Interview
1. I got the interview opportunity after a friend forwarded my resume to the recruiter. Getting a recommendation from an existing employee holds a lot of value at LinkedIn, so try that for sure!
2. My first interview round was with the recruiter who basically checked my basic fitment for the role based upon my past experience.
3. My second interview (1 hour) was with the hiring manager based out of Singapore. He asked lots of questions based upon my sales experience, what I achieved, etc. He also did a small role-play putting me through a touch sales situation. Overall the interview experience was conversational and relaxed.
4. My third interview was with a regional manager. It was a pretty cool interview too, mostly conversational in nature. I was again checked on my selling style.
5. My fourth round was a presentation round. I was supposed to give a presentation to a group of three folks on what would be my 30-60-90 days plan. Secondly, I was given a scenario that I need to renew an account which has a very high chance of losing. Prepare extremely well for this round as it might decide if you are in or not.
6. My fifth round was with my hiring manager's boss. The decision to hire me was made in the last round, this was more of 'let's know each other' round. You are simply not expected to make any massive errors in this round.
7. My hiring manager also spoke with two references and had a detailed discussion with them about my past experience, my strengths, weaknesses, and fitment for this role.
8. Post this round the recruiter asked for my compensation documents to decide my salary.
The recruiter was extremely supportive throughout the process and helped me understand what is expected out of me in each round. Full marks to the recruiter and the process.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Kuala Lumpur) in Aug 2024
Interview
Nice HR recruiter. But the hiring manager is the worst human ever. He introduced himself as someone who was "passionate" about coaching people. But he is the most condescending and even making fun of my current employer, I was screaming internally to end the interview after 15 minutes in. I can't imagine for someone who needs to report to him.

Interview
4 Step interview starting with a recruiter round and ending with a presentation round. Behavioural interiew questions and recommended STAR method to answer questions. These are not stress interviews and try to play to the candidate's strength
