Interview
Overall, a pretty straightforward and enjoyable hiring/interview process. Phone interview (generally with your HR contact), followed by a "Batch Day" (superday) with several in-person, 1-on-1 interviews. Phone interview was very casual, entirely behavioral. In-person interviews were mostly behavioral and largely focused on getting a better sense of how you interact with people, what your take on sales is, why you're interested in working in sales and at LinkedIn, etc. One of your superday interviews will be a sample sales pitch/presentation where you role-ply as a LinkedIn salesperson pitching recruitment solutions to a potential client. 10min long, you're given materials beforehand to brief yourself on the project. Expectations aren't extremely high, just hit all the points -- find the pains, be courteous, bring up the best parts of the product as they pertain to the client's needs, etc. Received notification that I'd been extended the offer within the week.

Question 1
Run a 10min sales meeting with a potential client (pitch LinkedIn). You're given some brief context before the Batch Day interview via email, along with a few PPT's with more details regarding the recruitment solutions product, how to pitch a client, a sales checklist, etc. Presentation is given to your will-be manager and someone else.

Interview
The interview process was pretty redundant. I went through 3 phone interviews and 90 minute on site interview. I was asked the exact same questions during each phone interview, one definitely could have been skipped. When asked during the 3rd interview why I enjoyed sales, I gave the same answer that I had during the previous two (which both of them had been very receptive to), and the 3rd one reacted completely different and he told me that was the reason I didn’t move forward.

Extremely friendly interviewers, smooth process, many behavioral questions. In general a very interesting and enjoyable process, emphasis on open communication and cultural fit. It is important to show your interest both for the job and for the company as well as the industry and product.

Interview
Applied through employee referral and was contacted by a recruiter a few days later. The recruiter scheduled a phone interview with a hiring manager within two days. After the phone interview I was invited onsite. The onsite interview was about 2 hours. I then had one follow up phone interview three days later. A week and a half later I was offered the position.
