After applying I did a brief (~30 minute) call with a pre-screen/recruiter to do a little bit of a "What's your experience with X?" talk. This was fine and short, but most of it was already detailed on my application/resume.
About a week later I had a 1.5 hour video-interview with two people from the department/team I was interviewing for. The interview basically was me regurgitating my resume to them and them inquiring about projects I had already completed for previous employers.
The interview never really got into discussion about what the job role was expecting of me and I had received no questions that were specific about any technologies. I am not sure how they intended to judge or decipher whether or not I was a fit for the role based upon their questions/line of interviewing.
