      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LiveRamp (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2016

      Interview

Was contacted through a recruiter. Had an initial phone screening with another CSM in the NYC office. Made it to the next round with another phone call with the director here in NYC. Met with the director in person and was moved onto the final round in San Francisco. Liveramp provides you with a prompt where you are told to put together a mock "onboarding" for a large retail client. I spent a lot of time preparing and putting together a really great presentation. Was flown out to San Francisco and met with the VP, Account Executive, and a handful of other 1 on 1 interviews. I was then set up to give my 25 minute presentation, which received very positive feedback from the team. Overall I have to say the interview process was really well organized, but I'm not sure what LiveRamp is looking for. In the end I did not receive an offer to move forward. The feedback from the recruiter is that my presentation was excellent but they didn't gauge the "level of excitement" from me for the position. I had flown cross country to interview and spent hours preparing, so obviously I was excited. Short of doing a hand stand and holding a sign saying "IM SO EXCITED TO BE HERE", I'm not sure what else I could have done. LiveRamp seems like a company that is very picky to the point where they lose sight of what they even want from a prospective candidate. They went through the trouble of flying me all the way out there, knowing I did not have extensive AdTech experience, and it felt like a waste of time in the end. The whole vibe came off as "cult-like" and a bit intimidating. Not sure if it was the right fit after all. Good luck!

      1. What is an example of an at risk client that you were able to successfully turn around?

Thank you for the time you invested in our interview process and your honest review. We appreciate receiving direct feedback from our applicants so that we may be able to tweak our process when and where necessary. We are sorry that you felt your time was wasted during the interview process. We aim to thoroughly assess every candidate carefully through phone conversations and are hesitant to require candidates to travel unless we are truly excited about them. While this role may not have been a perfect fit now, we hope you consider LiveRamp again in the future. We plan on doubling the size of our company over the next year and will have other opportunities that arise. We welcome you to interview with us again and would happily accept any referrals you may have as well.

      I interviewed at LiveRamp (Hyderābād)

      Interview

They hire through Cognizant in India. They are not fair, discriminatory even. They don't share any feedback. They will offer 20-22 LPA max. They've been interviewing for the same role since the last 1.5 year and have barely hired people.

Role specific questions. Mind you even if you give the right answer they won't be satisfied.

      Interview

The recruiter ghosted me and didn't respond to my follow up, despite saying they were going to move forward with me. No rejection letter, nothing. The recruiting function is simply poor here.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at LiveRamp (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2024

      Interview

Job was listed as remote but when I had my 1st interview, the recruiter said the posting was not updated. 3 days in office is a big difference from remote, so that was disappointing.
