The recruiter was super friendly and helpful. The process was faster than some of the previous comments I read on Glassdoor - perhaps because an immediate opening needs to filled fast. However, what I discovered throughout the interview process was:
1) There's ill-matched expectations. Although I had been explicit in my skill set & desired career path in my initial interviews, I was set up to be interviewed by a manager who clearly had a different set of expectations. (Could be prevented by the recruiter or the initial interviewer.)
2) Though the company came to my attention by recommendation (flat structure, opportunity for growth, willingness to invest in employees), I got a different vibe from being in the office & interacting with a couple of different people (including the manager). The organizational structure of the company seems a little unclear to me. Having an org chart that includes constant flux suggests to me that perhaps the company is less stable or less sure of how it should be organized.
