I received notice with no constructive feedback that the hiring team decided not to move forward with my application after an extended interview process. The 4 interview and aptitude test and prep process took longer than necessary if the 'fit' was not there. The interview process should not be very long for non senior roles. The unprofessional experience left a bad taste in my mouth since no feedback was provided and the recruiter simply informed me that the hiring team 'loved getting to know me' with no regard to the actual purpose of the job application.
Future candidates of underrepresented groups, please review glassdoor, the company website, Instagram and LinkedIn before you move forward with an interview. Diversity is clearly lacking at this company and there does not appear to be an active and engaging initiative to change the apparent non existence of an inclusive workplace in 2021.
If you decide early on that a candidate is not a fit, do not wait until the last minute to inform the applicant that you will not be moving forward to make the situation seem otherwise. Candidates invest time into the process and the lack of professionalism is vey telling of the company culture.
