I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement
Interview
The process was great for me. You can have 2-3 interviews. There wasn't anything involved that another company wouldn't do. There is an online application only. If they are interested in interviewing you, they will call and schedule one with you. A lot of people submit applications and call the store to check thier status. They are given a general message that HR is going through the applications and they will call you to set up your interview. Sometimes that is difficult for applicants. For some the process can be slow.
I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Yonkers, NY)
Interview
It starts with an online application, sometimes followed by a short 15–20 minute phone or video screen where a recruiter checks your availability, experience and communication skills. After that, you’ll have an in-person interview with the hiring manager covering customer service, teamwork and basic job capabilities, with questions like how you’d handle a price dispute or a short register drawer.

They asked me personal questions like hobbies I do and stuff outside of work. Asked about prior experience. The usual stuff. No questions like what would you do in this situation.
