Lowe's Home Improvement interview questions

The company won't even look at you unless you do their on-line application. It can be done at home or in the store. After that, you MUST call the HR manager, introduce yourself, get to know them and let them know what you can offer. The HR manager of the store I wanted to be in at first said they had nothing available and they would release my application to other local stores. Only by getting to know the manager on the phone was I able to get him/her to hold my application and discuss an interview. First interview with the HR manager, second interview with the sales manager, third one with the store manager. Was able to negotiate a little but not much. Was offered a better job than what I originally applied for but not as much money as I was hoping for. Why is Lowe's better than Home Depot? Better schedule, better benefits, less money per hour but easy to earn commissions and bonuses, better respect for the employee.
