Had a short screening interview, then an hour-long Zoom interview with a hiring manager. Classic interview questions about strengths, weaknesses, experiences in different situations.
Was offered a job at the beginning of August, so I signed an offer letter with an estimated start date of mid-September. I struggled to get any information from my recruiter after signing the offer letter and continued to be told "we don't have a start date for you yet." Eventually, after pushing for information in med-September I was told that my position wouldn't start until at least the following January. I was very disappointed in the lack of communication and transparency. I understand that plans can change, but I was totally in the dark through the whole process until I pushed for more information. The whole experience made me feel very disposable and unimportant, and I would advise anyone interviewing to be cautious about planning around an offer from Lower.
