I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Lutron Electronics in Apr 2018
Interview
I was contacted for a phone interview after submitting my application. Scheduled a date and time. Then was called 35 minutes late for the interview. During the interview it was pretty general questions then was told to do a role play to convince the recruiters child to go to your university. Went very well and got some feedback. Was told I was going to be sent an aptitude test to complete for on site interviews the following week(phone interview was on a friday). Wasn't sent the aptitude until the Tuesday. Haven't heard anything since.

Interview
First interview went great. Second lady called me and was extremely rude and unprofessional. Didn't even ask me questions about myself or my experience. Wrote me off immediately, despite having raving reviews from the first interview.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lutron Electronics in Feb 2023
Interview
Do not even waste your time with Lutron. I had a 4 hour interview, and I had to reach out for them to tell me no in an automated response. I asked for feedback and they sent me a link from indeed "10 interviewing tips". After meeting with 8 people you would think they would have notes to share. This is crummy business practice and the company was disrespectful after I put in a few hours preparing.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Lutron Electronics
Interview
My experience visiting the company was amazing! I had already interviewed for the SLDP role virtually and received an offer. As a courtesy, the company flew me out to give me a tour of the sales team and the engineering testing lab. Everybody was extremely nice and I got to learn the ins and outs of most of the products. They were able to answer everything from intricate engineering design questions to what the sales engineer role entails and the type of customers they support.
I left feeling very positive about this company.
