I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Lutron Electronics (Bethlehem, PA) in Nov 2012
Interview
If you're interviewing for multiple companies, just be wary of the time commitment asked of by Lutron. First of all, it's much like a cattle prod- they're interviewing 200+ people for 9-10 positions. Which is interesting given the job starts at $35k, far below what most of us are expecting to earn. It also requires 2 full days of your time so be wary of investing this if you have other options on the table.
Video call to review resume and qualifications as well as to explain the role in more detail than what was provided on the job posting. The process was very seamless
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would your experience fit into a technical sales role?
It was a good experience, didnt explain much about the job. No salary was provided at time of interview. Would have liked to dive deep into the job to see what it intails.
Extremely thorough and professional throughout the entire process. They clearly had put a tremendous amount of thought into every aspect of each interaction. You need to be on your toes and make sure to ask lots of good questions.
