The facility and people had a strange vibe. It reminded me of a cult compound instead of a high tech company. Stepford workers run by a single elderly curmudgeon owner. Truthfully, my interview was the most bizarre thing that I had ever experienced in my entire life. They had a row of windowless tiny rooms in the HR area that they put you in, It was more of an inquisition/interogation than interview, and consisted of playing silly mind game called the "Ring Ring" the pretend phone call game.. More on that later, My two interviewers were extremely arrogant and one of them kept bragging about his mediocre Air Force background and what a big deal he was now in Lutron. He had a smirk on his face the whole time. Lutron doesn't have full time and professional HR people, workers from all over the companies must rotate and "serve" in the HR dept as well as other departments. The smirking guy told me I may have to also pick fruit for the Lutron owners orchard, and/or that I may have to do personal things for the owners Broadway actress daughter. You can't make this stuff up...
