I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lutron Electronics (State College, PA) in Feb 2015
Interview
Before Lutron came to my schools career fair, they emailed all students in the Computer Science department a programming challenge (write a program that finds all palindromes given a list of words). If you correctly completed the challenge, they would give you a prize at the career fair, and consider you for an interview. I completed the challenge, and talked to a recruiter at the career fair. I mentioned that my GPA was slightly below their 3.0 requirement, and they said that it didn't matter, they were impressed with my code and wanted to interview me anyway. They scheduled a Skype interview with me two weeks later. Come interview time, I get on Skype at the scheduled time, and half an hour after the interview was supposed to start, the interviewer still had not shown, so I called the woman who I scheduled the interview with. She says the interviewer was out at lunch and he will give me a call when he returns. Two hours later, I finally receive a phone call from the College Relations Leader. He tells me that my GPA did not meet the 3.0 requirement and that he would not be interviewing me. This company is extremely unprofessional, and I recommend you do not waste your time.

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lutron Electronics in Nov 2021
Interview
Good and touched different aspects. Was three different days with four on the last day. First was a supervised coding exercise, second was system and UI design, third day was more behavioral and problem solving.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Lutron Electronics (Philadelphia, PA) in Oct 2021
Interview
I applied online and received an invitation for an interview which did not mention a technical portion. I was given an easy coding problem (given an array of items, filter out duplicates) My solution was O(n) where you’d just put the items in a HashSet. I also gave multiple other solutions and I ended up getting a rejection letter. I’m not sure what exactly is it that they’re looking for.. This was an entry level position. I had work experience and 4.0 GPA and was still rejected. I felt very disrespected during the interview as I was treated like I don’t understand algorithms for some reason.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Lutron Electronics (Pittsburgh, PA) in Sep 2015
Interview
I talked to Lutron representative at campus career fair. And then next day I had an on campus interview with a tech manager.
The interview lasted for less than 40 minutes. It was mainly about my resume and related background information. No made up questions involved.
And then the manager shared the recruiting process with me.
The interview ended with mine several questions for the manager.
There would be a follow up on site interview if this interview went well.
