I was contacted via LinkedIn, the recruiter asked me some easy questions by phone then she invited me to have an interview @ Guadalajara, Jalisco (Mexico) offices. When I arrived, there was a technical guy who obviously was not prepared at all. I hate interviews who start with 'What is the meaning of HTML or explain me the benefits of doctype declarations' omg, really?? Did you read my CV at least? Then he asked me to draw with a marker in the table some piece of code and every time he asked tricky questions... It was kind of weird because he was not focused on my ability, it seemed like he tried to proved he was the best guy on earth and no one knows more than him. If I'm the CEO of a business, I would like to have more control on what kind of guys are recruiting my people and maybe I'm not the best guy for that job but definitively he also is not the best guy interviewing the best people for the company.
