I applied online. I interviewed at Lyft (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2017
Interview
Had 2 phone screens. First was with a recruiter or HR person, and it went well. Second was a interview with someone who had only been with the company a few months, had no idea what i'd be working on, what team I'd be in, or who anyone was on the team I'd be joining. Had little idea what the job duties were. Was given a skills test for skills that had no relationship to what I'd applied for, so I got flustered and tanked it and that was that, I guess.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft (Toronto, ON) in May 2026
Interview
My experience wasn’t great with Lyft.
During my system design interview, my interviewer kept silent most of the time.
No communication, and he seems to end my interview session as soon as possible.
Be careful about this
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Lyft (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Process is good. Not too exhaustive and they respond quickly. Recruiters are great too. I cleared all my interviews and I am in team matching since a very long time. Lyft does not give you an offer even after clearing interviews.
