I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Lyft (Seattle, WA)
Interview
Technical phone screen then onsite, 2 design + 1 coding question. Standard coding question for the technical screen (I think I got something to do with directed graphs). Nothing special here. Note the coding question they just give you a laptop with eclipse and leave the room. You are expected to code and test your entire solution.

Question 1
Code autocomplete (type a word, comes up with suggestions). Design questions were those annoying high scale, back end type questions asking about databases and web services and all that kinda thing.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft (Toronto, ON) in May 2026
Interview
My experience wasn’t great with Lyft.
During my system design interview, my interviewer kept silent most of the time.
No communication, and he seems to end my interview session as soon as possible.
Be careful about this
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Lyft (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Process is good. Not too exhaustive and they respond quickly. Recruiters are great too. I cleared all my interviews and I am in team matching since a very long time. Lyft does not give you an offer even after clearing interviews.
