      Driver Growth Operations Associate Interview

      Mar 8, 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Nashville, TN
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Lyft (Nashville, TN) in Mar 2018

      Interview

Applied online via employee referral. Contacted less than 24 hours later for a phone interview with a recruiter. We had a 20 minute conversation about the job and my qualifications. Basic work experience stuff. At the end of the call we scheduled a follow up phone interview with a Driver Growth team lead. That phone call was very relaxed, information about the position. There were a few STAR type questions but no real pressure or curveballs. At the end of that call we scheduled an in person interview. There were two interviews, one with a team lead and a team member and the other solo with the other team lead. The first interview with the pair was information about the position, why I'd be a good fit, STAR questions. The second solo interview was mostly about company culture and feeling out if I'd be a good fit. That interview took place on a Friday, I received a phone call with an offer the following Monday afternoon. The entire process from application to job offer took exactly 10 days.

      Interview

The in-person interview process had a mix of formal and informal questions. I spoke with two managers there and another associate, and they were very friendly. They asked a few odd questions, but they were designed to gauge creativity and problem solving skills.
