I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2019
Interview
Phone screen was a typical SWE phone screen with a DS/Algo question. The onsite was 3 interviews with one 90 minute coding session where you had to solve a problem in an IDE and have your code compile and run and then its submitted to them. Overall the recruiter, the interviewers, and everyone I met were very pleasant, and the office has a cool urban vibe. I didn't get the offer, but I can clearly see where I messed up in two of the interviews. Hoping to give it some prep and try again in the future.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft (Toronto, ON) in May 2026
Interview
My experience wasn’t great with Lyft.
During my system design interview, my interviewer kept silent most of the time.
No communication, and he seems to end my interview session as soon as possible.
Be careful about this
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Lyft (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Process is good. Not too exhaustive and they respond quickly. Recruiters are great too. I cleared all my interviews and I am in team matching since a very long time. Lyft does not give you an offer even after clearing interviews.
