I was referred so they prioritized my application, the recruiter screening went well but the hiring manager wasn't present and was a little scattered and unsettling to speak with. Ultimately I wasn't given the opportunity to show best and they didn't invite me back.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Applied via LinkedIn and heard from the manager (acting as a recruiter) about 2 days following. There was first a 30 minute conversation with the manager. Following, they set up a 30 minute meeting with the hiring manager. This was
followed by a written exercise (about 2 hours time), then with 4 consecutive 30 minute panel interviews (2 hours, back to back). The manager and I initially had great communication, even having called me following my interview process noting that the team loved me and thought I was a great fit, and that I would be hearing back in the next couple of days. Then, absolutely GHOSTED. I always appreciate when a company reaches out, even with the news you aren’t expecting. Lyft did not even care to give an update. Very unprofessional and disrespectful.
